1. Recommended usage rates for ginseng:
   1. Seedling/1yr. gardens - ½ gallon in 100 gal. water per mo. per acre.
   2. 2nd year gardens - ¾ gallon in 100 gal. water per mo. per acre.
   3. 3rd and 4th year gardens - 1 gallon in 100 gal. water per mo. per acre.
2. It is better to spray Gin-K more frequently in a dilute mixture, i.e. weekly at the rate of 2 quarts in 100 gallons per acre versus monthly at the rate of 1 gallon in 100 gallons per acre. However, in between these applications of Gin-K, be sure to apply Grow-N-Thrive 8-8-8 for optimum foliage, seed, and root development.
3. It is best not to mix and spray Gin-K with another fertilizer at the same time. Do not mix Gin-K with a fungicide. It is OK to mix an insecticide with it as long as the insecticide does not contain any metals. Instead, alternate applications form one week to the next as above.
4. Do not mix Gin-K with any other products that contain copper, manganese, zinc, or other metals. Some fungicides contain heavy metals.
5. Do not mix Gin-K with any silicon based adjuvants. It is Ok to mix it with soap based wetting agents.
6. Use a good fertilizer, such as Nelson's Grow-N-Thrive 8-8-8, on a regular basis, but not at the same time as you spray Gin-K.
7. Some users prefer to spray Gin-K from mid-May through mid-Sept., about 18 weeks, or 4-1/2 months.
